Mama and Baby Dance (0-24mo/Moms) Let your child explore movement while you enjoy a cardio workout as you dance to music with your baby. Come dressed in loose fitting clothes and bare feet.
Too two cute ballet (2yrs only) Designed specifically for 2 year olds to give them the foundations of ballet technique using games and imagination! Your child may dress up as a princess every class. (No long dresses please) and ballet shoes/tights required.
Creative Ballet (3 & 4yrs) Your child will learn the basics of ballet and develop coordination, motor skills, muscle control and artistic creativity in movement. Your child may dress up as a prince/princess every class (no long dresses please) and ballet shoes/tights required.
Drum, Sing & Dance (3-6yrs) Your child will learn how to keep a basic rhythm, keep time in music and sing new and old children’s songs. This is designed to be a fun filled interactive class. Loose fitting clothing/ indoor shoes.
Painting(3-6yrs) This class will allow children to use their own creativity and express their inner artist. They will learn colour recognition, new painting topics and fine motor skills while socializing with other classmates. Child should wear clothing suitable for painting.
Boogie and Box For Boys (3-6yrs) This class is designed for boys to let off some steam and boogie while learning new techniques, obedience and discipline. The warm ups will be mixed with air boxing. Loose fitting clothing/indoor shoes or bare feet.

Creative Ballet (7-13) Your child will learn the basics of ballet alignment, RAD influenced technique, while being encouraged to create dance movement themselves. All classes have warm-up and cool down exercises and stretch/strengthening methods to keep free of injury. Ballet tights/body suit hair pulled back.
Hip-hop/ Street (13-35) The term Street dance is commonly used for the many hip-hop dances and funk dance styles that began appearing in the United States in the 1970s, and are still alive and evolving within the hip hop culture of today, such as break dance, popping, locking, hip hop new style and house dance. These dances are popular on all levels, as a form of exercise, an art form, or for competition, and are today practiced both at dance studios and more freely arranged spaces. Your child or you will be energized while enjoying learning new steps from one of Europe’s L.A. influenced dancers. All music is appropriate for age group, no swear words. Must have indoor runners/clothing that does not restrict movement. Level I -for non experienced dancer Level II- for dancer with two or more years experience/very high paced.
West African/ Funk Fusion (14-18) You will learn basic influences from West African tribal, ceremonial, celebratory dances from the country Guinea. Along with getting down and funky develop your dancing attitude! Bare feet, clothing that does not restrict movement.
Contemporary Technique (14-18) Dancers will learn the foundations of contemporary dance, contract and release, fluidity, arch and curve of the spine, proper footwork. The art form taught is influenced by Cunningham, Limon and Graham techniques. Improvisation to create dance will take place. Bare feet., non restricting clothing.
Classical Ballet (14-18) Your child will learn RAD influenced ballet technique, proper body alignment, musicality and free movement. Wear ballet tights and a body-suit. Ballet shoes required. Hair pulled back.
Performance Group (14+) Here we will work hard on choreography for performance purposes. Street/Hip-hop/Newstyle/ House/Krump/African/Song /Popping and Locking are all mixed in a high energy class. (You must be enrolled in hip-hop class to register)
Latin Mama’s Sizzling Salsa (35+) Mothers and Grandmothers get your “groove on” in this heart pumping, up-beat Latin dance class. Learn the very basics of salsa dancing while enjoying the rhythms of Salsa Music. Wear tight or loose fitting clothing or a skirt and bring your dancing shoes!

Persons with Physical Disability Wheelchair Dance Learn to relax your muscles and begin moving! This class is meant for persons with Cerebral Palsy or other physical disabilities where you have limited body movement. We will focus on the movement you have and turn it into something beautiful-dance! Non-restricting clothing, socks or bear feet (You must be accompanied by an aide for first class.)
Soul Sista’s Movement Choir Also starting up this year it will possible for everybody to try out our singing classes. We find that “Street soul and Gospel“ fit perfectly with the street dances and our message of unity here at Sista‘s. This is a new form of musical theatre and students and adults from all levels are welcome to join the class. We’ll be moving so please wear non restricting clothing/runners.
Workshops We will have many weekend workshops with guest artists from the USA, Europe and some of Canada’s leading Contemporary and Hip-hop Dancers! TBA .Also in the future we hope to offer classes/workshops for people from both the deaf and blind communities. At Sista’s our doors are always open!
