Laura has many years of teaching and choreography experience as she has taught at everything from adventure camps in Europe, to musical theatre at the boys and girls club of Kamloops. She has also taught at Calgary’s Cardel Place Recreational Center as an instructor for preschool dance for the last year. She has attended both University of Calgary and Grant MacEwan Community College Dance Programs and has attained a Dance Diploma.
As artistic Director of Sista’s Love to Dance Studio’s company Laura feels it is her calling to work with young children/youth to draw out their desire to move and create. Dance provides an environment which not only enhances performance but enables teens to develop a sense of community and keep out of trouble. She says Everyone has a dance inside of themselves itching to get out. Laura welcomes you with open arms to the first year of Sista’s Love to Dance Studios!
